Migration Agent / Migration Lawyer

Liz joined the GW Migration team in 2014 and is an experienced Migration Agent and Migration Lawyer. Liz previously worked as a Legal Officer for the Queensland Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions. Liz has had a long association with Japan and previous to joining the GW Migration team, she was chosen as the Gold Coast ambassador to live and work in the town of Takasu, Hokkaido, Japan, in the role of Assistant to International Relations. On her return to the Gold Coast, Liz wanted others to experience the positive experiences that she had living and working overseas. She decided that by working in migration law she could apply her legal knowledge and experience to assist others to also have a positive experience living and working in Australia. While Liz is competent with all type of visa applications she has extensive successful experience in dealing with Partner, Child, Resident Return, Employer Nomination Scheme and 482 work visas. When she is not assisting clients at GW Migration, Liz is a keen triathlete and snowboarder. Liz holds a Bachelor of Laws from Griffith University, Bachelor of Arts majoring in Japanese and Asian Studies from Sydney University and the Graduate Certificate in Australian Migration Law and Practice from Victoria University. She is admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland and High Court of Australia.
